What will they think of next?  In the heart of the West Village, Manhattan sits a shoebox sized store selling designer popsicles.

Yes,  you heard that right.  Designer popsicles.  Proving once again, that design is all, this cool shop offers popGelato, popsorbetto, or YogurtPops.

Not only do they have a dazzling array of all natural flavors, they offer poppings (that’s toppings to you, Bub), and premium chocolate dippings from milk to 70% dark chocolate.

But take care.  You too could become a PopAholic.  One trip and I’m hooked.

These cool popsicles are created inhouse daily using real fruit and all natural ingredients.  There are no artificial colors, flavors, or corn syrup.  These pops are Kosher certified, gluten free, lactose free, and vegan (popSorbettos).

It’s a new chain that’s popping up all over.  See http://www.pop-bar.com.

Or just pop in the next time you’re in the village,  5 carmine st, at 6th Avenue.

And think of the cool crafts you can make with the sticks.  You can throw your own Popsicle stick Play.

Now that’s the creativity of New York,  right there on the gritty street.

As you see, I chose a coffee ice cream with a dark chocolate coating and crushed pistachio crust.  The photo looks a little louche, but there you go.  That’s what happens when I get in the grip of something good.
