When the scale won’t budge, ok, admit it, you cheated.  Here’s what I do when I’ve used up my calories for the day and have little room to spare.  I make this satisfying smoothie.  It tastes good even if it looks kind of green, it is packed with nutrition, it makes all the parts move, and by the next day, I’m back on track for weight loss.  Yes!

OK To Say You’re Sorry

Crash Diet Detox Smoothie

1 cup fresh kale

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon powdered wheat grass

1 tablespoon chia seeds

4-6 ice cubes

Whiz it up in the food processor, then enjoy.  381 total calories and a powerful jolt of nutrients including protein, vitamins and trace minerals.  Yes!
