1. Get a Good Night’s Sleep

2. Take a Walk Around the Block


Nothing like pumping  your body with fresh air to get the juices flowing.






3. Eat a protein laced breakfast within 1 hour of getting up.




Toast and Coffee?  Add an egg,  or cottage cheese, yogurt,  lox.  What pleases you?


4. Connect with an old friend.



Whether you call,  or write, or email, reach out to someone you’ve loved for a long time. Tell them the best thing you remember about your friendship.





5. Get a dog.

Nothing like the love of a dog to make you feel whole.  Can’t own one? Find a shelter nearby and volunteer to walk dogs once a week. The canine-human connection is hard to describe and impossible to replicate.
