Best Home Made Taco Filling

Sure to please family and friends,  you can make up this home made taco meat using best quality 80% lean ground beef and fresh seasonings.

Refrigerate, then use as needed to fill tacos, make casseroles,  or just for a quick pick-me-up that’s not only delicious, but loaded with nutrition.

First off, the beef provides worlds of protein and trace minerals, then tarted up with chiles, and some best quality chili powder you get a big jolt of vitamins C, and B + iron.  Yum.

1 pound ground beef (70-80% lean)

1 small yellow onion, peeled and minced

4 cloves garlic, smashed

1 tablespoon Best Chili Powder* see recommendation below

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

3/4 teaspoon dried cumin

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 cup tomato sauce

1 tablespoon tomato paste

Cook the ground beef fully, then add onion and garlic. Cook and stir until its all cooked. Then add chili powder, salt, cumin and oregano.  Cook and stir a moment, then add tomato sauce, paste and adjust seasonings with salt and pepper.

Allow to simmer for 5 minutes.

Add to tacos shells or use in any other recipes that call for taco meat.
